Poor quality house and mean consultants

I bought a new house at Cosmopolitan Projects and moved in on 4th of June 2025, the quality is so poor. My main bedroom door can open the bathroom door even wind from the toilet window can open a door. Their built in cardboard underneath they didn't even plaster hence its easy for insects to enter the house. The thing underneath that covers what beneath the cardboard comes out all the time. The aluminum windows are leaking when its raining.

When you log in a query and you call them to follow up their so called 'Isaline' who works for customer service is rude as if this houses were free she even tells you to shut up its her turn to speak.

The paving outside is worse been fixed more than 2 times already but still its not straight to show that they ddint level or stomp prior putting bricks. The river sand that was used underneath the bricks you cannot even see traces of it yet they claim to have added it.

New home owners check your price structure or alse you will pay for an awning that is not installed in your house. A year later after their warranty everything breaks they're burglar is no longer working, the cracks that they closed they reopen, you can even hear someone opening a suitcase on the next room there is literally no privacy.

The paint they used for doors is breaking, l am so disappointed as it is l am looking for a new house n selling this one. Imagine paying close to a million for such quality poor quality very bad customer service.

Isalina lacks customer service attiqutte, she is very rude and mean. As soon as cosmopolitan has your money they threaten you like thrash hence she can even raise her voice when you raising concerns 😟 poor quality houses. Cosmopolitan standard has fallen

Dear Nonjabulo,Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We are sorry to hear that you remain disappointed with your experience and understand that concerns relating to your home can be frustrating. We have reviewed the history of your property and note that, following occupation, concerns raised during our standard three-month retention process were attended to and the relevant work was subsequently signed off. In addition to this process, our homes are subject to the applicable warranty and guarantee provisions relating to specific components and the structure of the property. As your more recent concerns involve a number of different items, we believe it is important that these are first properly assessed to establish the nature of each concern and the appropriate way forward.  We also note that the awning referred to was installed following your request and the work was signed off thereafter.More recently, you logged additional concerns with our Client Service team on 17 August 2026, including matters relating to the doors, cracks, possible water ingress, windows, burglar mechanism and electrical plugs. We take these concerns seriously, particularly any matter that may require further technical assessment.Following your recent communication with our team, it was confirmed that a Quality Inspector would be sent to assess the concerns at the property. This assessment will allow us to properly establish the nature of each item and determine the appropriate way forward. We are also sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your interaction with our Client Service team. We aim to treat all our clients with respect and professionalism, and your feedback regarding your experience has been noted and will be considered as part of our internal follow-up.Our priority is to ensure that the current concerns are properly assessed and addressed in accordance with the findings. We appreciate you raising these matters and welcome the opportunity to engage with you directly and work towards resolving the outstanding issues.Kind regards,
