Frustrated and disappointed

I'm very frustrated with cosmopolitan service, late June I have received a message from standard bank stating that a certain amount has been paid to Cosmo and I will be starting to pay the bond by 25 July 2018. Where I was renting previously I canceled the lease agreement of which I explained and I was told there is no electricity meter in place and there is nothing that can be done about it cause they have many clients and cannot prioritize me. They said will call me back and I have received nothing even today. I had to take my child home urgently since we are stranded, now I'm becoming more stressed cause the school is reopening and there is no solution with regards to electricity meter and the fact that I have to pay bond this month whereas I'm struggling like this??? Now I have to beg to squeeze in with other people in their flats but I have a property..... Where is the customer service here?????? I'm very dissapointed Regards,

Dear Client

Our log details for easy reference: 488 W

Transaction Status: House Registered 6 March 2018; Plan Approved 14 April 2018; House 99% complete

Summary: It is a disappointment that after speaking to myself and Nicolette you would post untruths on Hallo Peter. Per our discussion yesterday morning, we recognise this as a purposeful intent to push you house ahead of our other clients who have been prior to you and who experienced real delays; which is not the case with you. Please note your transaction status. Your house is 60m2 and is complete except for activation of the electric prepaid keypad. This we wait on council to link to their systems so that you can buy and load electricity.

You advise your 'agent' told you it would be ready sooner. You were not able to name the agent who told you this. The sales team on your transaction is of the highest calibre who are intimately aware of the turnaround times on construction. Your statement that I advised: I cannot prioritize your house, is preferential to your purpose to force your house ahead of others. I advised your house was not affected by the historic delays and that it is well within turnaround time, unfortunately, there were many other houses delayed by council difficulties, long overdue. I advised I could not prioritize your house ahead of our other clients who were overdue and prior to you.

Your second statement that you did not get a response from Nicolette is also untrue. You did speak to her advising your fear of a bond instalment at month end while you are still not in the house, she advised this would not happen since you had as yet not accepted the house. She invited you to call her again should there be any further uncer*****y on this. As you and I discussed yesterday morning, you advised me that you called the bank's home loan call centre who advised if your bond is registered there would be a instalment due on month end. At present you do not have a 'usual' home loan, but a building loan. The bond instalment is only due once the developer receives full payment for his construction work. This is addressed when you sign your building loan with the attorneys. Possibly, you missed this in the documentation discussed by yourself and the bond attorney. However, your bond registered in March, and you have had no activated dr order. We are paid only the land price on registration. Interest that is levied against the bond since registration is deducted from our final payment which is why there is no activated dr order. This is not a requirement due by us, however as an acknowledgement to our clients of our partnership with you and goodwill, we carry these costs while we build your house.

Problem Identified: You are under pressure to move into your house as you would like to be in the area when the new school terms starts so that your child can be closer to school. This is a very important motivation, but there are many such clients prior to you. Your construction is in no way delayed. To build your house faster would have been negligent and unrealistic for delivery of a quality product.

Corrective Action: From our side there was no error or delay. However we expect your keypad to be activated within this week. We expect to hand over the house by the weekend.

Please contact me direct for any further information.

Kind regards
