DO NOT BUY PROPERTY AT SKY CITY!!!
If I could give a negative star I would.
If you’re looking to buy property at sky city, please do not! Nothing is up to standard. I have been sitting with a plumbing issue for months and all my follow emails have not been attend to. I have to deal with a flooding house because they refuse to come fix this mess despite the many emails I’ve sent.Truly disappointing, nothing world class about this place.
This is a new house, you’d expect everything to be on par but reality is that it’s subpar! Horror!

I have checked our system and see that you reported a leak at your first bathroom in March, with two other issues regards shower water flow and noise from second toilet after flushing on the same job card.
Per our record we have this job card as closed with your signature that the works were attended on 21st March.
I cannot trace any further request for assistance since this request of 10th March.
Kindly refer to our website for our email channel that you have used in the past or log your fault via our QR code.
The plumbing warrantly has lapsed on 23 March 2021, however if this is a recurring fault, we will arrange a remedial job card to investigate and resolve if needs be.

Several emails were sent from my email address *** two weeks later after a plumber “attended” to the problem. Emails where sent to the hello Cosmo email address, Tshepiso Singo and Mathys Basson that the issue of the leakage persists. None of them bothered to take action.
This issue began prior to the warranty lapsing, had this been fixed properly we wouldn’t be here but here we are. Kindly attend to this, I’d like this fixed! Can’t be putting up buckets and mopping the bathroom everyday due to incompetence and poor workmanship.

If this isn’t exemplary as to the kind of treatment we as the community of sky city are subjected to, then I don’t know. There is zero sense of urgency even when you think you’ve escalated the matter.
I don’t think in your house in leafy suburbs you get to mop a flooding bathroom everyday and try to control the flow with buckets... totally undignified living. I just don’t know anymore. This is truly my biggest regret purchase. Hate this place and it’s subpar housing to the core. Black people are truly subjected to the worst! Yeses
