Disgruntled client

Good Evening,

This serves to shed light on the poor, dishonest and disheartening service we are enduring from Cosmopolitan Projects.

Our bond was approved for the purchase of a house at the Protea Glen ext 40 project in January 2020. This being the first delay we experienced.

We have had to constantly contact the sales consultant to get progress reports and have been sent from pillar to post, getting conflicting information regarding the reasons for building delays, all taking place before the covid19 lockdown regulations that affected the construction sector end of March 2020.

Since the commencement of construction projects in May, we have requested written communication of expected completion dates and general reports of progress. None have been shared. We have since been referred to a Mathys Basson whom via telephone communication, requested an SMS be sent detailing our request. We subsequently sent an SMS informing Mr Basson about our reasons for requesting the above information, these including; our increasing financial commitments due to the delay in construction (storage facility, lease agreement, bond interim interest that we are paying to the bank). This Cosmopolitan employee is now ignoring all attempts of communication from us. This is undermining us as clients that are paying you for a service that has become nothing but stress and a headache.

This has been a dissapointing experience for clients who's only request has been honest updates and written communication of how far our house is. We need a written report from your office giving a clear indication of when our house will be completed. We have also spoken to the NHBRC to escalate this matter further to the Housing Ombudsman. Please furnish us with this report as we are also contemplating to cancel this deal and go somewhere else to people who value their clients.

This entire delay has become a financial burden for my partner and I. Our lease agreement is coming to an end now In July and Mr Bassoon said he will give us weekly and monthly updates of how far our is, without any luck. We need to make informed financial commitments. We are paying an interim interest to the bank and we are paying for storage for safe keeping of out furniture. Your urgent feedback will be highly appreciated.
