Developer doesn't care after handing keys.
<div>I bought a house, moved in July 2023, same month I moved I reported that the kerbs on the drive in are messing up my car when I drive in, they first sent a Qa to check out, same person agreed with me that they need to be changed, however they go back to write report and never got back to me, I report same thing again, with proof of videos and pictures when driving out. Another QA is sent and sees same thing and agrees with me that those pavement slubs need to be flatten, then 2 month later I get a rejection, how when my car gets messed up everyday, I'm so tired of fighting this people. they don't care after they give you the house keys, you on your own. There have been over 15 people in same estate I have been talking to with same issue. It's at Lion Pride Lifestyle estate. They now rejecting my request to have them fix this, worse, even all QA(inpectors) they send sees the issue, agrees that it needs fix, but the developer just rejects. I don't get it at all</div>

Per our discussion today, unfortunately, after our inspections and subsequent reports received, the decision has been concluded by our Project Management not to amend the roadside curb that leads into/becomes part of your driveway onramp.
Cosmopolitan stands by its finding not to change your curb, after our engineer and Project Management, have factored in all possible remedies and disadvantages of changing the specification of your curb. It would not be beneficial to change the curb.
Your curb is in line with the requirement of City of Joburg regulations and the tolerance gradient of driveways per building regulations. Many factors need to be taken into account, in part, the regulation for curb heights by the local council, since these impact on water flow for storm water, drainage, flash floods must be considered for your area etc.
It is very unfortunate that undercarriages of vehicles catch on the curb incline but we must remain with building regulations.
Unfortunately, the motor industry is not aligned to/dictated to, in its design spec of vehicles to accommodate regulations of various local councils.
We have discussed the avenues available to you since, understandably you remain frustrated.
