Depression caused by cosmopolitan project in Lion Pride lifestyle estate
I recently purchased a house at Cosmopolitan Capital View in Pretoria West, but my experience has been a nightmare. When I moved in, I was shocked to find that the municipal invoice showed an outstanding water bill of R49,000! Despite promises to resolve the issue, it remains unpaid, and I'm unable to purchase electricity as a result. I've sent numerous emails and texts to the responsible parties, but unfortunately, the issue remains unsolved. My advice to anyone considering buying property here be careful, they will sell you dreams and deliver empty promises. I have all the emails from COJ, Wilma kept on lying to me and COJ that they have paid when they didn’t. If you want to buy here think twice and trust me it’s not worth the R1.7mil house. I regret everyday for buying here🥺

As discussed you have not been blocked from purchasing electricity.
We understand you do have power at your home.
We appreciate your frustration, but we do not bill on behalf of the City of Johannesburg.
This is an error billing and most likely the continued error of duplicate water billings many COJ clients experience over several months now. Awareness has been escalated to the COJ.
We can only facilitate to request amendment. We cannot access or amend errors on behalf of the COJ.
May I suggest you log an account fault per the COJ website and provide us with the fault reference? The council will not let us log a fault on your behalf as we are not the owner.
With your reference number, we may get the matter escalated for urgent correction by the City of Johannesburg.
Yours sincerely

One of your consultants called me earlier shouting at me, you don’t even know how to treat your clients. Fault is not from COJ but from Cosmopolitan bit I’m not surprised as you do everything wrong from selling us a dream and lying to us. I am definitely taking this up and exposing Cosmopolitan to people who don’t know.
