Cosmopolitan Projects' appalling service

Where to start?? I have three gripes with Cosmopolitan; 1. Poor explanation of cost implications (municipal) 2. No defined project end-date 3. Zero reply to enquiries... "I don't know is not a professional answer".

1. My fiancé and myself keep receiving municipal account closure threats, while all along we were not told that we will be liable for bills which accumulate pre-occupation. Upon realizing that phone calls aren't working we wrote numerous emails to Isalina (the Manager: Client Liaison & Brand Management)... NO REPLY! 2. We signed on as clients in August 2017. It's the 19th June 2018 and we still haven't moved in, and have no idea when we can expect to move in. We were initially told that it'll take a few months (didn't realize 12 still count as few). A project has a defined Start and End date...what this is, I don't know. 3. Cosmopolitan Project's after sales service is appalling! Attempts to get clarity or general enquiry are ignored.

The other reviews I've read here on HP have me wondering if we made the right decision in purchasing from them. What one reads here is disturbing, especially seeing that we haven't even moved in and we're unhappy with them. The other question to ask is; what are the finance houses doing to ensure people get their monies worth? As banks, they should be monitoring HP, and address issues where they see trends.

Let's see if they will respond to this, because emails and telephone calls are not sufficient to warrant actioning.

Good morning Mr Modiba

As discussed please accept my apologies that I did not have chance to reply on your mail of 13 June regards your Municipal council billing. Council had sent out 1011 sms notifications to our Sky City clients on 7th June. Unfortunately. we have been inundated with calls to clarify the incorrect billing as it would seem council is turning clients away or not answering their phones to assist clients.

I confirm per our telephone call, you now have clarity on the billing errors and advice as to what is your expected payment to council once the errors are rectified on their billing system, expected for 25 July invoice run.

I have put in a request to get feedback as to when y ou will receive your house. On our side the house is 94% complete so it should be imminent. I will call you in the course of the day once I have the answer from our Project Management.

Our houses are taking longer so that we can deliver a better product to you. The delays have however been excessive in the last few months for matters out of our control, mainly linked to plan approvals at council and getting water and electrical meters on time from council once the house is in its final stages. We cannot get these meters sooner in the process as their is huge risk regards ******* connections and theft of meters.

Finally, please be assured that the finance houses have very strict controls on our product as it is their security for the moneys lent. The banks and our top management are constantly working on solutions when trends are identified.

Please bear with us a little longer. I am sure you will be happy with your final product of a good quality home.

Kind regards

Isalina Barreto

Manager: Client Liaison & Brand Management

Best regards,

MM

Hi Isalina You said you would speak to the MP and get back to me on the date of your above reply (20/06/2018). It is the 25/06/2018, and I haven't heard back from you. I sent you a follow up email on Friday 22/06/2018 (which I got back a read receipt for, and no reply). I called earlier today but couldn't reach you. Please advise.
