Cosmo Sky city is a no go...
This sky city project is a dream crusher. When you need to apply for the bond they are 100% with you they will even stay on the phone with you for hours just to make sure you buy their houses. I was supposed to have moved in December just for me to still be waiting for an electricity box today. Apparently the project manager has the list with boxes that will be installed but you as a client are not informed whether you on that list or if you will ever move to your house . i have send an e-mail and cc'd everyone on bored not evens an apology nothing. still no responds until today. I mean who will have the patients to wait more then a year to be moved in to a house. This is my 1st property and it should be exciting but its more stressful then anything else. Rather buy a pre-owned house from an agent who will value your time and money. Cosmo Sky city just don't care about their clients period.
Dear Client
Our log details for easy reference:
36 W
Transaction Status: House 98 % complete
Summary: It is disappointing that you found the need to post on Hallo Peter. Specific after you had spoken to myself and Elvina today. I had advised you that we only wait on your electrical meter from council. Further I advised we were due to receive large batch of meters by the end of today, but as yet I did not have the stand numbers for which the meters were allocated to. I explained the reason I could not give you a definite answer is that council delivers to us in their own determined batches, and not in our constant requests to council to streamline meter delivery with plan approval date. Appreciate the council process is not in our control despite our continued efforts with council. For this reason I explained I would have an answer tomorrow if your meter was in the batch received as the only would we ourselves know. If your meter is in the batch, the expected time for installation ( due to the delayed delivery of the meters and quantity needing to be installed) it could take up to 4 days, thereafter we will receive your occupancy certificate. Therefor it would be our best assumption to expect to hand over your house next week,
Problems identified: Unhappiness of house construct turnaround time
Corrective Action: Our Project Management is in process with council to find solutions for faster and transparent information on delivery of meters. Cosmopolitan remains in talks with interested parties to overcome this serious delay. In as much as our clients need their homes, we want to deliver to you. It is not in our clients' best interests or our own to delay delivery of your home to you. We apologise for the unacceptable delay, but it is by no means our intention or preference. Please bear with us as we work through these challenges with the local authority.
Kind regards
