Complained to Cosmopolitan projects @ Royal cradle, Mindalore Ext 7
I moved in to Royal cradle on the 22nd of December at first I was excited to move into a new house. However as days passed buy i started picking up some defects within the house and today (29/01/2021) i had a major roof leak. The ceiling had an opening due to water trying to find a way out. When I logged in a call they said they can only help me on Monday (01/02/2021) and now I have to be stuck with the problem for the whole weekend. I was told that emergency calls are attended to right away but they are not owning up to their words, if it happens that it rains the whole weekend then the house will be flooded with water.

Specific on your comment of "defects":
· All new houses built by any developer or private architect/builder will have minor problems coming to light in the initial weeks of move in.
· Houses are made from materials affected by numerous external factors.
· Houses are entirely man-made – no process is automated
Please appreciate houses do not come off an assembly line with controlled internal manufacture environments
Emergency turnaround:
Per all our contractual and educational processes to all our clients:
Emergencies have a 72 turnaround time.
Your complaint was received at 12:30 yesterday.
We will give urgent attention to situations of:
no waterno powerreal risk to personal safety These instances when in our control (not requiring input from external services such as your local council) - are resolved same day.
I can appreciate you are frustrated on our turnaround of attending on Monday, however per the photo you have sent, it seems that the leak is not excessive. While we do not want any damage to ceilings, we can see that there will be no flooding.
In conclusion, please be appreciative of the human factor. It is raining every day, beside the danger of working on a wet slippery roof, we are in a second wave of Covid. We are not going to have roofers out in extreme weather conditions to repair a minor leak. Putting our people at risk of compromised immune system making them more susceptible to Covid infection.
You have an emergency job card 22146, logged for Monday, WEATHER PERMITTING, we will have a roofer attend your roof leak. Any damage/stain to ceiling will be repaired by us as part of roof leak repairs. I close this post as we do not use Hello Peter as our Client Service platform.
Yours sincerely
