Closure of a public road and inconvenience...
Once again Cosmopolitan Projects being inconsiderate and paying very little attention to the clients. I moved into my house at Sky City in December and My house is just next to the show houses. it has been six months now and Cosmo has in that duration been closing a public road (Menhaden street) to my house all in the name of marketing. the have their marketing banners right in the middle of a public road, as a result i have to go around a few blocks just to get to my house.
With the petrol price of late, the extra 0.05 odd litre of petrol that i have to spend because of Cosmo is a lot. Cosmopolitan, can you please remove you banners from the road!!! and I doubt if you app**** for a road closure from the municipality as well. even if you did get permit, it is an inconvenience to your clients and can you just for once listen to us..

Summary: We note that you were frustrated with the road closure at our show houses. We had initially decided to do this for the safety of pedestrians coming to the show houses. However since so many of our clients have moved in around the show houses, we thank you for bringing this problem to our attention.
Problem Identified: The detour is inconvenient for our clients who have already moved in and also has a cost implication in petrol consumption for some clients as the detour maybe a slightly longer route.
Corrective Action: Your reported your frustration to one of our site managers on Monday 30th July. We confirm by same Monday afternoon we had ensured the road be opened, of which it has since been.
Closure: We trust all residents will drive cautiously in this high pedestrian area. As previously stated and for emphasis , our initial motivation to block of this area was to ensure pedestrian safety. We do however thank you for bringing it to our attention that it is an inconvenience now with so many properties being occupied.
Also we are happy to see that our formal complaint channel is working in that you approached our staff direct and the matter was resolved same day.
