Cancel My Handover. I don't want the bond anymore. I want my money back.
I purchased a house in Protea Glen (Star Village), I was supposed to have moved in mid July then was told end of July. I put in the notice and now I'm homeless as the company hasn't delivered. Handover hasn't been done yet so now I wanna cancel. This is now turned into a nightmare for me. So unprofessional on top of that I paid 20% deposit and I'm currently studying. How will I write exams like this with lack of concentration because of all that is happening now.

As previously explained, the delay is due to the City of Johannesburg's (CoJ) systems currently being offline. Unfortunately, this unforeseen circumstance has impacted the issuing of occupation certificates for several properties, including yours.
This certificate is a legal requirement for occupation and must be in place before any handovers can occur.
Our teams are actively engaging with the relevant authorities to escalate the matter and push for a swift resolution. We are committed to keeping you updated and ensuring you can move in as soon as it is legally permissible.
