Bad building, unhelpful customer service
I have a house in Sky City, with the recent heavy rains there has a lot of leakage. I reported the leak some time last year and received no assistance. I later on had to report the issue to my insurance who informed me that the leakage was not due to any acts of nature or lack of maintenance but an incorrect size of roof tile being installed. I have reported the leakage again to cosmo following the recent rains and I was told that my warranty has lapsed and therefore they cannot help. What angers me is the fact that there wouldn't be a problem if the tiles where installed correctly with the correct sizes. This problem became worse over time because I had no way of knowing that the tiles aren't fitted correctly. Cosmo doesn't care about their clients at all, and also do not take any pride in their workmanship. I am very disappointed and would not recommend anyone to buy a home from cosmopolitan projects. Rather go for the old houses or just build one yourlself.

From the posts received as well social media groups and our own formal communication to residents, you will be aware of our assessment completed and conclusion in process of the way forward.
At the risk of sounding as if I am giving all a generated answer I will not repost that which I already have.
May I kindly request you read a few of the prior posts so that you may be in the loop of latest.
I have added your house to our list to be investigated and assessed for the way forward.
As for an assossor giving you the response on your roof tiles as given, I do place a question mark. All specs are adhered to.
Bank and local council will not give us the necessary certification to move in a client should we not comply.
Why would we do this at the risk of not getting paid for a completed product, which we put our own money in upfront?
We have found that most assessors are highly qualified and well aware of the latest building standandards.
Then there are those few who are not knowleable at all; they do not have the updated requirements.
When these assessors are requested to provide a formal report.....they go quiet, not wanting to put it out there, that in fact they do not know their function specs/do not stay up to date with building changes over the years.
We will communicate direct with you once we have received instrucitions shortly from our crisis management team.
