APPALING
I have suffered soo much at the hands of cosmo I APP**** FOR A HOUSE PAID DEP OF R21000 AND THEY CANCELLED MY APPLICATION BECAUSE THEY SOLD MY STAND TO SOMEBODY ELSE THEY WANTED ME TO TAKE ANOTHER STAND .I HAVE BEEN SENT FROM PILLAR TO POST REGARDING REFUND OF MY DEPOSIT I PAID BUT NOONE IS INTERESTED AS A PERSON WHO IS IN TE SERVICE INDUSTRY I FIND THIS VERY DISTURBING. WHY I DEALT WITH TEM IN THE FIRST PLACE I DONT KNOW .

Summary: I have not managed to make contact with you on your cell or land line. I have sent you an email and message. We need to understand the reason you withdrew from the second stand. Please get in touch with me.
Upon investigation I understand the initial stand you purchased was withdrawn by us. There were factors that came to light after the sale to you, which impacted our construction planning for that particular phase.We would only be in a position to start construction on your stand mid year/late, next year.
Because we have experienced many unhappy clients not prepared to wait this long for their homes, our decision makers considering all factors, decided to put a hold on this particular extension.
As I understand you were consulted and agreed to a stand of the exact same size, price and layout, but in our current extension, which is already under construction. This was mid July. All seemed well and we proceeded with the banks to shift the approval to the current stand.
Subsequent early October we were in a position to action the initial phase again, bearing in mind, these houses will still only be delivered mid year next year if all goes well. That first stand has now been sold on the 18th October.
Corrective Action: From our side we cannot "book" / reserve stands. It is unfortunate the initial stand was again released once complications were resolved and has now been sold. However you have been on the new stand since July. I must speak to you to understand why the stand you now have no longer makes you happy.We will , of course immediately refund your deposit should we not find resolution with you.

I received a copy of the deposit slip when you paid. I see that you did not pay the funds to us, but correctly, direct to the conveyancing attorneys who hold the money in trust. We do not have the funds. I do see our Head Office requested the attorneys to close their file and pay over your deposit on 10 December.
I have requested confirmation that the attorney indeed has the payment as a refund on cancelled deal. You are also welcome to call them for the release of the funds to you.

I have seen the proof of online banking payment. Clearly showing the payment made to the attorneys (correct practice).
The good news is that the funds were paid over to you this morning. I expect it will reflect in your account tomorrow. The funds were invested by the conveyancing attorneys in an interest bearing account per normal practice. You therefor have also been paid your accumulated interest.
