Worst Service & Worst Product

Just a little over 2 years ago I had a pool installed through Cosmo pools (accredited installer for Pools for Africa). When the pool arrived, it needed repairs before it was even dropped into the ground, thereafter the pool needed constant repairs in between. After a year of back and forth it was then finally agreed upon to have the pool recoated (which was then only done many months later) after the one manager from Pools for Africa eventually came out, shortly thereafter (about a week) I noticed little bubble wholes appearing all over after the recoating. I took this up with them only to be told it is impossible due to the process followed, yet no one came out to inspect. In December 2022 I then noticed that the coating in the one corner is now peeling off, there is white blemishes all over with little wholes all over. Every excuse is now being told and thrown in my face, from the chemicals to which I urged them to come test for themselves, and now being said the white blemishes and coating fading already, is yet also a type of chemical in-balance.

From the start this pool has been problematic and needed constant repairs, and when brought to their attention (Pools for Africa & Cosmo Pools), it takes many weeks before they come out then first get given ever excuse possible as they do not want to take ownership of a poor product supp****.

My pool is just a little over 2 years old and I invite anyone to come check my pool for themselves on the state of it, and your more than welcome to test my chemicals too.

Now yet again I am struggling to get someone out, messages are ignored, read but not answered and the pool is just becoming worse as the days pass by.

It took us just over 3 years to save for a pool for our kids, only to find out we made the worse choice on whom to go through, as every time when they decide to come out and supposable fix the pool, the problems remain the same and if anything, worsen.

This has been the situation form the start, before the pool was officially installed to date, and it is only getting worse, and nothing being done. They have their money, made their profits so they just don't care at all.

Dear Michael, it is with disappointment that we take note of your review. The swimming pool installed at your premises is manufactured by Pools For Africa and not Cosmo Pools, there warranty on the shell lies with Pools For Africa. We have gone over and beyond to mediate between yourself and Pools For Africa, even to the extent of us provided labour at own costs and Pools For Africa provided material for a courtesy re-lining of your swimming pool shell which you have regrettably declined. What a pity!

The pool and installation was problematic from day one, even before the pool was dropped into the ground. each time there was a problem, it took weeks and at times months for you to come out, to which the owner himself only came out once to inspect the pool himself.
whenever repairs were done the problem only worsened within a short period of time, then get told that the coating only warrants a 6 month period, but never mind the fact that it takes months to get assistance.
all due respect, the level of care given when attending to problem is not carried out professional at all, and I feel only quick fixes are done to try push over the short warranty period given, so the problem no longer falls on you.
My pool is not at a point in less than 5 years, where the coating is literally pealing off everywhere, blemishes all over and looks like its been in the ground for more than 15 years. The one step is collapsing, paving is coming loose.
Yes I could of agreed to your terms to repair again, but where would I then sit again! If anything, if no repairs were carried out I believe the pool would of been in a better condition to what it is now, as repairs are not done properly from both parties involved.
