Unwilling to go the extra millimetre

<p>Despite several warnings from friends on the Garden Route I decided to view some of the current specials at Coricraft in the Garden Route Mall. One particular couch caught my eye, but alas the original salesman did not inform me that the leather had been discontinued and I am thus unable to order a second couch in the same fabric. This I learnt today. I made it clear to the saleslady that I am willing to buy a 2-seater leather couch, even if it is not in the same style or leather, on condition that it is in stock - several friends have burnt their fingers and waited months for Coricraft to deliver. One particular couch was a perfect match, both style and colour-wise. After much ado the saleslady approached the manager to request if she could swop out the 2-seater with exactly the same couch (in a slighly darker colour). Her request was met with a blunt no. I should add that there isn't even a 3-seater, slouch or corner unit in the same style on their floor, so what difference would a change of colour had made? To add insult to injury, the manager's *****y comments as we left the store are sure to make never set foot in any Coricraft store again.</p>
