Unable to Repair Dining Room Chair After a Number of Years In Use
We love our furniture but now that we need some repairs done on one of our chairs a few years after usage, we are told that it cannot be fixex unfortunately. This is truly not great for aftercare service. The feedback I received: "This is due to the fact that it is an imported unit and we do not have the necessary spare parts to accommodate the repair. Please note that all of our imported items come as is from our suppliers." Our chair broke as a result from moving house and now we are stuck with a very expensive chair that cannot be repaired. It has been a few years and my account details are also not found on their system, it could not even be located. For aftercare service this is not the best deal.

14 Jun 2024, 10:41This is precisely why we would never buy from Coricraft again as another plan could have been made for instance in its place, because repairs are not possible, replacement or some other form of compensation could have been made. Furniture is expensive and if unrepairable it is best to rather shop where there is a promise to assist in repairs.

18 Jun 2024, 14:50Dear Julie G,
We’re really sorry to hear about the trouble with your chair. We typically keep parts for our pieces for up to 3 years. Unfortunately, the kind of repair your chair needs requires the expertise of a highly skilled carpenter and might end up costing more than purchasing a new chair.
Once again we are sorry that we are unable to assist.
