Good Day Claudette

I don’t think you have read the context of the mail. • I called through to your offices and was advised that the part costs R150.00 on *** yesterday. • Your supplier is charging R650.00 (Why?) • You telling me that the part is not guaranteed and I must pay, someone entered my residence and fitted this part today and advised the part is still under guarantee (Mr Dawood). • I have since wasted R909.00 – Please advise Why? Good day, Trust that you are keeping well. Thank you for getting in touch, unfortunately, we do not stock the spare parts. It is mostly only supp**** as a full unit. The mechanism is only guaranteed for 2 years and therefore the charge. I need assistance with regards to the way my query is been handled with respects to a handle which broke on order number w19337. On the 24th of March 2021 a query was lodged regarding a handle which broke on my recliner. I queried as to whether the part was under warranty and Vusi advised it was not. The Galleria branch was unable to supply a part, however Vusi advised that I would need to communicate with a supplier to obtain the part which I believe is unprofessional. Subsequent to complaining about this he proceeded to contact the supplier whom made contact with me. That said the Tasneem from Coricrafts supplier contacted me regarding the solution from a company by the name of Z & T Interiors (***0..) and advised the costs would be R650.00 for the part and I would need to drive there and collect the part. If I chose they would fit the part for me at an additional cost which I could only imagine would take me in excess of R1000.00. I forwarded pictures to Tasneem who advised I need to purchase the “cable and the cable cap” (I am not sure why as the handles are available separate online). I was not happy with the fact that I would be paying R650.00 less fitment for a plastic part which is only going to break again in the next few months so I proceeded to look for a part of better quality. I found a metal part which I ask Tasneem if she could rather assist with this part (please note below, you can purchase the cable cap separate). Tasneem advised, and I quote: “Hi There I only buy from one supplier the plastic type You can purchase directly the one you saw on the web” There was no attempt to win the business over, no client service so I proceeded to order the metal replacement part I needed online as per attached totalling R909.00 including the shipment. 1. Today I received a call from a supplier advising that the part is under guarantee and they received a work order number to come through today and replace the part free of charge 2. Failing this call I contacted Coricraft on *** to understand exactly why I have thrown away R909.00, therefore I requested them to advise me if this part is under guarantee, again I was advised no but there is someone calling through to my residence to fit the part. 3. In the conversion with Coricraft I was advised that the part I required only costs R150.00 and someone should have called through to diagnose the problem and come up with the solution. I need to know: 1. Why is the supplier charging R650.00 less fitment and Coricraft is quoting R150.00 (R500.00 difference)? 2. Why is someone calling through to fit the part for free? 3. Why am I out of pocket R909.00 for no good reason? 4. Please note I need answers to the above failing which I will not only go onto Hello Peter but I will look to post on Linkedin as per below as I am been ********** here. Someone needs to be held accountable either way. I have no issues with Vusi as he is pleasant and helpful but this must be resolved ASAP.
