Sloppy customer service and questionable refund policies

I purchased 4 cushions online from Coricraft almost three weeks ago, only to find out the stock is unavailable when I called to query. Prior to this no one has tried contacting me nor did anyone arrange the alternatives. 3 days after I have spoken to the customer service staff, I received a call requesting a copy of my ID to enable the refund. Since when do we need a copy of ID to facilitate refund? Why do you need to verify my identity considering the refund will go directly into the card I used for the original purchase? Quite frankly I do not trust Coricraft enough to share my personal details.

To add, Coricraft also does not reply to any of the queries I emailed. It should be a clue to the investors regarding the company's financial standing that it creates fictitious online transactions to fabricate sale volumns.

I’ve also been following up on its FB page, and found one reply rather amusing. To one complaint the customer service agent rep****: “We reached our sales target earlier than expected and can not sell anymore at that price..” The truth is that the sale items weren’t really out of stock. How extremely short sighted is Coricraft to compromise its reputation for the fulfillment of a short term sales target? Your business model and marketing strategy is appalling.

Hi friends, it made me upset all over again reading about your experiences. Normally sales are part of a company’s market scheme that aims to enhance its positive image. It goes without saying that Coricraft has failed miserably. I finally received my refund last week, and it felt like I had to prove to them that I deserved my own money. My advise is, apart from constantly following up, always ask for the agents name and request everything to be recorded in a email. Good luck, and I guess I won’t see you in a Coricraft shop ever.
