Selling defective products and making swap difficult
The sale process at Coricraft Fourways crossing was delightful, the post sale experience has been horrible. I bought two couches and the one couch was damaged on arrival. Even the Coricraft delivery guys noted that it was damaged, I noted this on the delivery note so its clear it arrived like that. I reported this to the store immediately. Like it was not enough to pay for a defective product delivered to you , Coricraft told me to wait two weeks for an assessor to come check the couch. Therefore, I need to play warehouse for two weeks. They said if I cannot wait they will come collect the couch a week after deliver. They will take it to the warehouse and an assessor will check it out and that will inform the next steps. When I asked for timelines they couldn't give me any, I mean nothing, not how long after receipt at the warehouse will the assessor check it out, or how long it will take to get a replacement. I'm so shocked, I expected so much more from this establishment. Why should a customer go through so much just to get what is due to them which is a acceptable product. They even offered to repair the product instead of giving me a new one like I deserve. They deliver to you hoping you accept their rejects from the warehouse and make it difficult for you to get a decent product.
