Racial profiling at Coricraft - Brooklyn, Pretoria

<p>I bought about ten items of furniture from this store. They were delivered in late August. We only opened one of the items last week due to ongoing renovations. The item looked inferior and not what we had expected. I asked the lady who assisted me to check if we could exchange two items for two more expensive items. She called this morning to say it could not be done and that three months is too large a gap between delivery and inspection. I would like to note that on the occasions I have went to the Brooklyn branch, I have noticed that customers of colour are only assisted by Black staff. White customers are only assisted by white staff. An elderly woman who purports to be the store manager is a sour puss and is openly ****** to me. Having spent a large part of my savings on this furniture and given your company's amazing brand, it is so disgusting that in 2016 we are subject to racial profiling at what is meant to be one of South Africa's leading retailers. Try to do better, Coricraft. The rainbow has many more colours than what your Brooklyn manager makes out there is... I would like to be able to exchange these two items. They are in perfect condition and I don't think that a ****** manager at your store should have the final say. There must be some recourse when there is a dispute between your store and a client. </p>
