Ordered and paid for but sold to someone else

On the 9th November I purchased a lamp table from Coricraft Sandton. They had stock of another lamp table I wanted but it was damaged. I ordered that specific lamp table and paid for it on the 9th November. I was told I can come and collect from the store on Sat 21st November. On Sunday 22nd November I called to see if my lamp table was there, and was told that the sales agent will call me back. I unfortunately received no call. I went to Sandton to collect and after waiting for a long time, was told that the lamp table I ordered and paid for was SOLD to someone else. HOW DO YOU SELL SOMEONE ELSE'S GOODS THAT THEY OWN. The Coricraft invoice states that the goods remain that of Coricraft until paid in full. I paid in full for the goods -so effectively they belonged to me.<br> I was extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and demanded a refund. I was told that a refund takes 4 working days as their point of sale machines do not do refunds and they can't refund me in cash. <br> I will wait with bated breath to see if the refund is made within the 4 days. Companies that lack customer service should rather under promise and over deliver, than over promise and under deliver.
