NOT MEETING YOUR CUSTOMERS HALFWAY
We have not had a good experience with this Company at all. Firstly going to their clearance outlet, and been given 3 different prices to a Santorini 2 Seater couch (we actually wanted 2). Then to be told that the material for the specific couch was discontinued added insult to injury because with was utter *******.
We opted in buying these couches new, knowing that at least no-one else had the privilege to actually sitting on them. I was not entirely happy on paying upfront and in full for two couches which will be manufactured and taking 8 weeks, so I decided to pay for one couch and would pay the balance on completion of the job.
Well time was nearing for the couches to arrive, when I did an internet search and was totally disgusted that MR SHOPPER was selling the exact same couch for R8976 which included delivery, where we paid R9499 per couch, plus material protection PLUS DELIVERY. Had we bought the couches through Mr Shopper, I would have saved R1741.
I contacted Coricraft and was not happy with their response. I contacted their Head Office, and also copied their CEO into the email. I got a reply from a side kick to advise that MR SHOPPER had no right to advertise the couches at the lessor price (mind you it is still advertised for the same price).
Coricraft would not even CONSIDER giving a discounted price on these couches. How come a third hand supplier can sell a product cheaper than you, going directly to the source? Are we all in for the money, not thinking about the customer that should be looked at for a discount? If MR SHOPPER can sell the couch at that price, then what is their cost price? Really guys? This is just not on.
After quite a few of meaningless emails, I still am sitting with no proper response from Coricroft. An email from the Umhlanga Branch dated in November advising they would contact me the next day. That day never came. They at least gave me a discount of R200 for delivery. May I add here that we are about 3 km away from their storage facility, so still paying R495 delivery is a total *******...
We were told that the couches would be delivered on the 15th December. I paid the total bill, unhappily. Today is the 16th, and still no couches. We have got rid of our old couches, so at the moment, my lounge is standing empty, with us sitting on our fingers ... When we called , we were told maybe the truck is standing outside the warehouse with the couches. When I sent an email requesting the particular person at Umhlanga to phone my daughter, the call eventually came.
One of the couches have arrived a week ago already, whilst the other one is still passing quality tests.
Is this the way that you treat your customers? When you spend my good money I paid for these couches, are you feeling that you gave me the best service? Do you think I would recommend your service? Do you think I will be a returning customer?
We also have plans for these holidays, which your company has clearly stuffed up!.. I am not a happy customer, and yet have to see how you have going to reverse this unhappiness.
I have many emails to backup my allegations as well as people that have neglected to email back, or purely ignore my email because I am not recognised enough to be heard?
