No service, no assistance, no effort

We wanted to purchase a couch and table lamp. First of all nobody ever asks if they can assist you. When we queried the R700 delivery cost to deliver to Knysna, we were told that that is their instruction from head office and there is nothing they can do about it. We asked if they are then ok with rather losing the sale than trying to reduce the delivery fee and we were told that's the way it is. Nothing like \sorry we can't help"or \""let us see what we can do\"". Just a brush off like you are not important. Previously we were in the shop when someone from higher up was visiting and all the staff fell over their feet to ask if they can be of assistance. I do not feel that this is correct. Coricraft is supposed to be a more upmarket supplier but we get much better service from shops like Sheet Street. I have lodged a complaint through the website on the same day and have received a call from Eugene Pelser but since then also no come-back from him or anyone. """
