Living in a house with no couch

I understand that the company has a specified approximate turn around time for manufacturing and delivery of the products but when i call and specifically request that the order be sped up, I was "assured" but not promised apparently, that the couch and other items would be manufactured by the 17th of August. Delivery would therefore hopefully be around the 19th. 5 calls made and i'm later informed that the earliest i would receive any of my goods is the 29th of August. No explanation for the delay in manufacturing or delivery. Then i call again this morning and i'm informed that maybe by the 31st/ 1st you will receive a call to determine when delivery can take place. Shocking display from such a well known company whose furniture is not cheap by any standard. will never purchase from there again. wish i didn't pay the R25 000 upfront. perhaps if i held onto payment a little longer, i would have had my couch delivered sooner.
