On the 17th of May I visited the Coricraft Mall of the North store in Polokwane, I saw a coffee table priced at R 2999. I told the sales person at the counter I wanted to purchase the table, he then went to the computer and told me the price is incorrect and that it actually costs R 5 999. When speaking to the Manager called Marietjie, she was extremely rude and just told me there is nothing she can do, and that it's the incorrect price. I then escalated it to their headoffice who also just told me sorry, it was the wrong price. Even though the consumer protection act clearly protects the consumer against this kind of conduct, Coricraft took almost two weeks to get back to me with a simple "sorry for the inconvenience, but the item was incorrectly priced". I bough my first couch set more than 10 years ago from Coricraft, I most certainly will not be buying anything else from them.
