HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ZANELE MALL OF AFRICA

I recently had a disappointing experience with a Zanele at the Mall of Africa branch, which I wanted to bring to your attention.

To provide some context, I originally ordered a headboard from your Stoneridge branch. The consultant there was absolutely wonderful, helpful, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I requested that the headboard be delivered to your Mall of Africa branch for collection, and the Stoneridge team (Mbali Dhlamini) handled this seamlessly.

However, my experience at the Mall of Africa branch was unfortunately very different. Yesterday at 2 PM, I received a call from Zanele at the Mall of Africa branch informing me that my headboard had arrived and that I needed to collect it before 5 PM the same day, as she did not have space to store it.

I explained that this was very short notice, but offered to collect after 5 PM if they could wait, or alternatively the next day. Rather than working with me to find a solution, the consultant was extremely rude and dismissive. She repeatedly stated that she did not have space and that she had no control over delivery schedules. The conversation became unproductive, and she eventually hung up on me.

I was extremely disappointed by this interaction, especially after the excellent service I received from the Stoneridge team.
