I signed for a couch with coricraft who is in association with rcs in Jan 2016 for R10 000, and was advised that my instalments will be R1012.39 over 12 months, I only received the article from coricraft about 2 weeks ago.

Now they called me saying im in arrears for R5300, as they didn't get payments via debit order, the reason for this was they didnt take correct banking detail, I then told them ill pay cash rather, and I also remind them that that I was not going to pay for something I don't have and are not sure if its what I ordered.

Now I'm getting calls from a collections company who said I owe R5300 and i asked for what, and I'm told i owe for 3 months from Feb. they also told me i have been handed over . now this makes me more angry as no one send any notice to me either by mail or telephonic

i signed for 12 months and they tell me its 6months .

i only got the article 2 weeks back and they clearly wanted me to pay for something i didnt have.

i want to take this thing back and I'm told i cant

if no one calls me , i will forward the signed agreement to credit ombud

We take a 50% deposit and balance prior to delivery. Once the card is swiped the payments are due, so at point of delivery effectively 50% of the payment should have been received, this should have been communicated. We offer a 6 month interest free option that requires that the full amount gets swiped on point of placing order, it sounds like this option was activated. We can still convert to a longer period.
I will forward this onto the relevant Managers to get resolved
Apologies for the frustration
