Gobsmacked

I paid R10,000 for upholstered dining room chairs. As the delivery charge was exorbitant (R400 to deliver 1km) I opted to collect them. No-one bothered to phone me to tell me the chairs had arrived, we went to the shop to inquire! No-one bothered to mention that I would not be collecting from the shop when I bought them, I would have to schlep to the warehouse! No-one bothered to tell me they were flat packed and I would have to assemble them myself. If I was buying from Ikea I would have expected that!!!!! To pay so much money to have the chairs handed to me in pieces is a total disgrace. It would have been nice If someone had bothered to tell me my chairs came in pieces!!<br> <br> The guy at the warehouse offered to assemble them for me as I was so angry but I would have to come back in 3-4 hours!!!!<br> <br> Never again.
