False information _ scotchgarding

We bought couch from Coricraft Cradelstone on 22 March, we were assisted by Kevin who assured us that we could have our couch scotchguarded after delivery for R1200. He gave us the contact details for the people to contact, and said they would come to Carletonville to scotchgard the couch. We contacted the company who then informed us that they charge R2508.00 to come out to scotchgard the couch, we were informed that it would have been R1200 if it was done before delivery. We have contacted Coricraft Cradelstone and Head office, everyone we have spoken to keeps saying they will sort it out and call us back, we are still waiting for a call back. The last person we spoke to is Claudette from Head office who said that she would arrange that the Cradelstone branch covers the balance for the scotchgarding as Kevin gave us the wrong information, she said that she would have to clear it with Kevins manager and she would call me back, it has been 2 weeks and still no call back. This is very disappointing and unprofessional! The couch was bought as a gift and had we known that it would cost more than double the price for the couch to be scotchguarded after delivery we would have arranged that it was done before it was delivered.
