False advertising

I was at the store in Canal Walk and wanted to purchase a sofa. At the entrance on display was a couch on special with a R1000 discount on the price.<br> When I wanted to purchase the sofa I was told that the discount did not apply to the fabric I wanted AND YET this couch that was advertised with the discount was in the exact fabric I was wanting.<br> My question is how you can display an item with a discount and when I want to purchase it the EXACT same item as displayed is not on special/discounted.<br> I definately think this is a case of false advertising- furthermore no one was prepared to entertain this fact<br> Couch *** and colour Jozi Cement
