Failure to respond - DQ36733

<p>Good Day Coricraft,</p> <p> </p> <p>I am quite upset with the fact that i have sent an email ********** and Fiona Gommell on the 5th April 2017 in response to fact that we do not accept the outcome of cleaning and scotch guarding our couches, as it was not originally done by the factory and have not received any equivalent response from them.</p> <p> </p> <p>We have had these couches now since december 2016 and quite unhappy with it. </p> <p>As per my email to them i have stated "The whole point of ordering the couch including scotch guard was to prevent stains and repel liquids(refer to scotchgard).</p> <p>Clearly this was ignored from Coricraft’s perspective and only on inspection (with reference to the original complaint), was it found that the scotch gard was not completed.</p> <p>Clearly the lifespan of the couch has changed and now we have an inferior couch.</p> <p> I find it highly unacceptable that you are suggesting we should inconvenience ourselves for your mistake.</p> <p>What happens during this process if our couches are damaged? Clearly, Coricraft will waiver their liability as what you are doing in this instance.</p> <p>If this indeed is the way you operate I do not feel like purchasing any goods in future from Coricraft."</p> <p>We are well in our rights as stipulated by the Consumer Protection Act to request an exchange and NOT REPAIR!!</p> <p>I find it highly unprofessional that your staff do not respond.</p> <p>My wife sent them a subsequent mail on the 18th April 2017 regarding their response and we have not recieved any.</p> <p>I appeal to you to refer to the emails sent on the 5th April 2017 to claudette/fiona and respond, failure to do so within 5 business days will result in this matter be taken to the ombudsman.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards,</p> <p>Ryan</p>
