Failure to deliver a purchased item and lack of service

I am actually in disbelief as to how unorganised a business can be. For a simple one item purchase to be messed up the way it was is unacceptable. I ordered a tv stand a week before delivery date and stated multiple times to both the shop and warehouse that delivery needs to be made 2-Dec-19 because it was the only time I’d be available only to be made to wait the whole day being kept on the line that they just had an issue in the morning but will still deliver late. I waited till 7 in the evening for this delivery only to eventually find out I wasn’t even on the warehouse system. So I basically paid into the air for something that was never going to be delivered to me. How someone is erased from the system is beyond me. Now I must struggle with phone calls to both the shop and warehouse out of my own pocket because no one gets back to you. The lack of service has been astounding and it’s things like this which put a person off of ever purchasing from the store in question ever again. I am currently struggling just to get the product and after being promised it would be delivered today 3-dec-19 I find out that was a lie so who knows when I’ll get my tv stand
