Disreputable Actions

We bought a corner unit at Coricraft online 2 weeks ago (R43k). The item is handmade-to-order. and production and delivery time of 10 weeks was estimated. Yesterday (8 weeks from estimated delivery time) they advertise the same unit with 20% off. I contacted them to request assistance with credit of paid for and current advertised 20%” price. Response: They will have to charge 10% HANDELING FEE to cancel and re order the same item. (Just a reminder: Item still to be delivered in 8 weeks) Instead of it being a quick administrative exercise they are opting for the disreputable option. Its not everyday you buy a couch unit (R43K) and we looked forward to the new item of furniture but these developments has left us with resentment. They have really CHEAPENED OUR EXPERIENCE.
