Damaged goods

Good morning - I bought two lamps with shades recently and wondered why the one was a bit lob-sided. My son tried to see what the problem was and discovered that one of the 3 inside "frame" legs of the shade was bent. I waited for them in the store to find a matching shade of one I had chosen and now upon closer inspection I realise that it was either dumped in the storeroom or put aside as a partly "damaged" item. I do not think I even have the slip - I need to check in my bag. I never mind paying for anything I purchase but at the price of approx R5 000 for two lamps I expect a NEW item not one that looks as if it is second-hand! I am shocked as I love your store. Totally unacceptable.
