Coricraft *********

I purchased a sofa from coricraft galleria on the 29/11/2016, I was told that it would be delivered on the 20/12/2016. The sales rep asked me which side I would like the slouch and I explained to her that she did send me a quotation and must use that as a reference since I could not remember. I called the store on the 15/12/2016 to confirm my order and the sales rep reassured me that it will bee delivered. My existing sofas, I gave away on the 17/12/2016 since I live in a flat and I would not have space for two sets of sofas, and to make space for my new sofas.

I lost my baby on 22/12/2015, so I planned to have a memorial service for my baby on the 22/12/2016. Coricraft called me on the 20/12/2016 to inform me that my sofas are still in cape town and the warehouse is closing for December. I basically pleaded with to please make arrangements because I was expecting family and no place for them sit. So coricraft called me on the 21/12/2016 and informed me that they will deliver temporary sofas while my sofas are getting ready. I accepted it because I was helpless at the time and psychologically was not well to argue with coricraft.

Then early January the sales rep called me to inform me that she had put in the wrong order and the slouch was on the wrong side. So she informed me that it would take another six weeks to manufacture and they have to pick up the temporary sofas. I explained to them that I do not have sofas and what do they expect us to sit on for six weeks. The sales rep said she will call me back. The next day she called and assured me that they will not pick up the temporary sofas until my order was ready for delivery.

On the 28/02/2017, the warehouse called me to inform me that my sofas will be delivered on the 04/03/2017. On the 03/03/2017, they call me to say that my sofas have arrived but the leather got scratched so they would have to send it in for manufacturing. So another six weeks.

I asked the warehouse if I could change the colour since they would have to remanufacture and they said definitely. I would just need to send an email of my request. I did send the email and I also stated that I would like to be compensated for my pain and suffering caused by coricraft. Then the warehouse sends an email to their management with false information stating that I wanted to change the side of the slouch, when in actual fact their sales rep got the order wrong and I have the quotation that was sent to me with correct side of the slouch. The warehouse says they are just passing on the message and that's what they was told but they passing on false information.

Well, think about it, who waits 5 months to receive sofas from a so called reputable company like croricraft. I just moved in to my first new home in October and have so many households items to purchase, It took so long to save that money. If only I knew that it was going to take 5 months to get my sofas I could of used that money on other essential items and only purchase now. What about the interest I would of collected from them bank for leaving it in a savings account.

The warehouse says I should not be compensated because in all this time I still had sofas. That is when I said enough is enough. I tolerate enough, coricraft thinks that they were for me a favor by still providing with sofas in this five months. Their service delivery is absolutely pathetic, they send wrong information to management, they are completely *********** in placing orders to their manufacturers and as I said earlier I basically had to plead with them every time for sofas that was already purchased in full.
