I made a layby at a reputable furniture store in Jan for couches and they were custom made and paid balance when they were ready in end of April/beginning of May.

The couches were delivered and they gave me a 100% discount on delivery fee. When they got to my place the delivery guys could not get them up the stairs since I'm on the first floor and I asked them to send them back to the store.

The store called me and I asked them to arrange another delivery and I will arrange more manpower and try and get the couches to my apartment, that was on the 22 May 2021.

Yesterday I called the store seeing that it's over a month and delivery is not done and I was told that the couches were sent back to the warehouse and my order was canceled and if I still need the couches I will have to pay a difference of R1395. When I bought the couches they were R17 999 and now they are R19 999 and had to pay for scotch guard and I ended up paying +- R19 000.

Now they are telling me they have given me a discount again on the new price of the couches but I still need to pay for the scotch guard and the delivery. Anyway I don't need delivery as I can transport them myself at a lesser fee coz their delivery is R695.

What are my rights here coz according to me I paid for the couches and I dont owe them a cent the only thing that's left is for me to collect my couches. Please advise and also I am told if I cancel my order they will minus 10% which is fair as most of the stores do that when you cancel. But i don't want to cancel i just need to collect what i paid for.
