Claims to be leather but is not

I purchased an ottoman sometime last year and within a few weeks the colour on the supposedly \leather"strips started scratching off as people sat on it. This is extremely annoying since the sales person and online advert stated that the strips were in fact leather. <br> <br> I wrote a complaint on the coricraft website a couple of months ago and to date received no response.
