BAD QUALITY FURNITURE

My complaint goes back about 8 years when I spent a fortune on new furniture with Coricraft. Part of this purchase was a 8 seater dining room suite. Frome the get go the chair legs kept breaking at the base where they are glued on so I thought it just needed fixing. After all the chairs had a guarantee. Because we hardly used the chairs as this suite was mainly there for show, we only started noticing, every so many months, that 2 or 3 chairs had loose legs. Then I would take them in for repairs. This has been going on now for 8 years. At one point I asked the manager of the store if it would not be better for them to just exchange the chairs for me. He very ARROGANTLY told me, that was NOT possible as these chairs were discontinued due to the quality problems. I rest my case!!!! So I was stuck with **** Coricraft chairs. In March this year, I took 2 chairs in again. And lo and behold, the Salesman, Hannes questioned why I was continuously getting these chairs fixed. It may be better to get other chairs. But after some phone calls, he told me that, Yes Coricraft will replace the chairs, but that I will have to pay for new chairs. Let me just say too that my chairs still look as new as the day I bought them!!!!!! I sent an e-mail expressing my frustrations, which has been blatantly ignored. It has now been 3 months, and the chairs I took for repair in March, have not been repaired yet!!!!!. If I don't keep going to check if my chairs have been fixed, NOBODY bothers to call me. CORICRAFT......YOU SUC****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We apologise for the poor service you have received. The dining chairs that you purchased had a one year warranty .

We will gladly repair them for you and possibly reinforce the frames to ensure that this doesn't keep happening .

Kind regards,

Olga de Pinho
