5 months to get unit repaired, poor finishing

More than another month later, they arranged for collection. <br> <br> Got the unit back more or less a month after collection (thus 5 months from reported to fixed). Repaired fairly ok, although chipped wood splints were left unfinished after fixing the cracks, and the finishing of the table top is not nearly as smooth as it use to be (and as my similar plasma unit). Almost as if it has not been sanded and varnished properly. I'm still sceptical about how long the fixes will last, since the tension in the wood that caused the cracking will remain. I did mention this to Coricraft when negotiating, but this was the best they offered to do. <br> <br> I've negotiated a lot with Coricraft, thus not expecting by posting this that they will do more than they did. Just need to make visible the effort to get repairs done, and that finishing off after repairing was not of best quality. I still feel that giving 1 year guarantee on wood, means little confidence in the wood.
