Worst excuse Ever!

Bought a pair of markdown Beats solo headphones which I was explained the reason for mark-down was that the ear cups are peeling off I checked online and saw ear cups is replaceable and is just under R400, upon testing the unit I discovered it could not be paired via Bluetooth and the left ear cup is not playing the unit was then booked in for repairs. the supplier Cores reply was that the unit had physical damage cause the ear padding was peeling off how ridiculous is that, what does the ear padding have to do with the hardware ? please come up with a better excuse. I was informed that any unit with earpads that are peeling off warranty voided then why do you sell lose ear pads for the headphones? I
