Phone don't boot, and apple hide behind 12 month warrenty

Worst product ever! Since the new update my phone has had numerous issues. On sat it just didn't want to switch on. Booking it in at istore I received a quote for a replacement unit, stating phone not booting up as the problem. Now I understand a button that break or charging jack because you use it everyday, but hardware failure is bad craftsmen ship, inferior components! No they want me to pay for it 1 month out of warrenty!
