Macbook Pro Fault unresolved by FNB / Apple / Core Group
20 months of back and forth complaints lodged by myself in regards to a faulty Apple Macbook Pro purchased through FNB [supp**** by Core Group, manufactured by Apple].
Apple / Core group remain completely unwilling to give any formal indication of cost involved, stock availability or timeframe to repair the device. Nor are they willing to even admit in writing to the fault despite it being published on their website here: https://support.apple.com/keyboard-service-program-for-mac-notebooks
FNB are unable to obtain the above information from Apple / Core Group, and unwilling to resolve the situation at their cost, suggesting I lodge a formal complaint with the Ombudsman for Banking Services.
I have now been forced to do the following to resolve what should have been a simple procedure from Apple / iStore / Core Group if they had informed staff and engaged customer service representatives:
1.) Lodged formal complaints against all parties through Hello Peter. 2.) Lodged formal complaints against all parties through the National Consumer Commission. *** 3.) Lodged formal complaints against Core Group and Apple International through the Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman. *** 4.) Lodged formal complaint against FNB through the Ombudsman for Banking Services. ***
