iStore ripping people off

I do own quite a few apple products, usually buy it from Istore, but when I purchased my iPhone X they had no stock available. I developed a battery problem and took it in for repairs on 20 May 2020 at the Walmer Park iStore in Port Elizabeth. I was told it is out of warranty, which I suspected, and they also informed me that I did not purchased it from them. I asked for a price on replacing the battery, please sit down for the shock, R11000.00. They will take my old phone and replace it, I believe with a refurbished phone. Needless to say I took my phone to the Apple Docter at Baywest Mall and had it replaced with a genuine apple oem battery for R999.00 and for my wife's old iPhone 6 R499 (also OEM battery) iStore should be ashamed in the way they try to force people to purchase new stuff instead of repairing. They should be investigated by the government for inflating prices for repairs just to make people buy new products.
