iPhone 6s damaged at service centre

I booked my iPhone 6s in with Apple for repairs to the fingerprint sensor.

The damage had been caused due to contact with moisture. Because of this the warrenty was void. I accepted this finding.

The South African Apple service centre is run by the Core Croup. They do not have any Apple parts and so sent me a quote to replace the device which I rejected as not having the fingerprint sensor is not a worth R6000 to me.

On receiving my device, however, I found that damage had been caused to my display in the form of two dead pixels at the top of the screen. This I noticed immediately.

I sent the device back in so that Apple could repair it. However, the Core Group sent back an email claiming liquid damage was the cause.

For the next month I emailed Natasja Badenhorst and the Core Group ********** - I tried to find a phone number to speak to someone, but there is none available) trying to resolve the matter. The Core Group, however, have simply ignored my requests to prove the damage was caused by contact to moisture or to repair my device. In a call from Natasja Badenhorst, she told me that "we do not have Apple parts so cannot repair the device".

As opposed to replying to my emails, they simply keen ignoring my questions and sending the same quote to replace my device.

Trying to resolve this matter is incredibly frustrating. I am contiually ignored and they refuse to give me the courtesy of answering my questions. I sent my device to an authorized Apple repair centre as I wanted the best service and quality of repair, but instead my device was damaged and I was treated like nothing as the customer service clients continued to ignore my questions.
