Holding package hostage

<p>I ordered items online and delivered to the correct address today. I quote from the Mobile In Africa website : "You may be required to provide a valid form of identification when your order is delivered".</p> <p>Upon delivery the courier company informed my that he needs to return with a copy of my proof of address and ID. These two items along with my signature are the only things needed to open a ********** account in my name - thus I refused to supply a copy of my address.</p> <p>I spoke to the courier company's manager which stated that above were requirements from The Core Group (a company I've never heard of until now). I phoned the Core Group's customer care line which informed me that the requirements as set out above are from the courier and NOT the Core Group - contrary to what I've been told.</p> <p>So it seems as if though someone is trying to get hold of my personal information without any reference to supplier or third party service provider's policy, and for that reason I will not order from you again. I believe your system is in absolute shambles.</p> <p>Unhappy costumer.<br /><br /></p>
