BeatsX only last a few months

My first pair only lasted six months of light use and then stopped working in one ear so I returned them and was given a second hand pair that had glue coming out of them. My second pair also only lasted about six months until they started losing connection. I then tried to return them and couldn't because the serial number didn't match the receipt from the original pair and because the original pair are now out of warranty. I was told that Apple cannot repair Beats and can only replace them so it will cost me another R2500 for earphones will most likely only last a few months. Would not recommend!
