STAY AWAY - DO NOT SIGN UP WITH COOL IDEAS

I sent a cancellation request on 1 January 2023 to cancel my subscription. According to the contract cool ideas requires a calendar month notice but my line will only be dropped on 28 February 2023. When I call them they cannot help me because I was supposed to cancel on 31 December and not 1 January. A full calendar month is not considered from 1 January. What a ripoff I need to pay an extra month for something I’m not using. Hats off to Vodacom. They allow cancellations today 3 January because the 1st and 2nd were holidays. Sadly I am a customer for over a year and all they can say is that they cannot help me because that’s the terms and conditions. So much so for customer service.
