Pathetic service and blame shifting

Cool Ideas is a pretty standard ISP. My internet went down 6 days ago on a Sunday. We reported it first thing on Monday. So the games began. It is now Friday afternoon and still no resolution. Unfortunately, this ISP has no ability to move Open Serve (who is the line provider and a terrible one at that) and all we have been told all week is “it has been escalated” to Open Serve. Of course we don’t pay Open Serve but Cool Ideas who seem completely at a loss as to why their requests are not getting a response from the line provider. Pathetic. No doubt in a few days time I’ll get a full monthly bill and be expected pay without delay. At least their agents are all quite polite, but ineffective.
