Not so cool, I think

So I've been with Cool Ideas exactly 4 months and am not happy with the after sales technical service. When ordering the service, really efficient. Can't complain there (after all they want your money).

My hubby hurt his back two weeks ago and was put on 2 weeks bed rest. The first week we had issues with internet. Had to download this and that to run tests so they can see what the problem is. It gets sorted (through TeamViewer so no help in trying to fix it yourself lessons) It's always the same time at night when it bombs out - after 19:30 when the technical team is not available to take a call. So you log a ticket on their website and it take them minimum a week to reply, and by then the problem has sorted itself out.

Tonight is no different. Internet interruptions from 19:15 to total blackout from 19:30. You phone and hold for 10 minutes for the line to just go dead. No automated message about technical only being available to 19:30 (which is ridiculous when you provide a service like this). Sad to say I had better technical support from Telkom than what I'm currently getting from Cool Ideas.

I'm told I must run a cable from the modem to the tv's and any other device to avoid interruption. Who will a) pay for the cable, b) install the cable where it doesn't destroy the look of the house and c) why pay for WiFi if you must run everything through cables like good old fashioned DSL?

So sick of *** service and everyone using the Covid excuse. If you're working from home, you should be working at least at 80% staff capacity. Not less than 10%. Sometimes the devil you know is better. Might've had bad service from Telkom but I could get an answer straight away and problems escalated and normally solved within 48 hours. desktop connected through the cable but anything wireless is not finding the network (and I have range extenders around my house to help)
