False marketing

Your initial invoice was slightly higher as it included a pro-rated amount for the activation date, along with the R489 subscription for the following month. This is standard practice and is always communicated upfront, as the pro-rata invoice is due immediately upon activation. Since your service was activated on the 30th, your initial invoice included the following month’s premium.  Regarding the change from R489 to R513, this adjustment was due to a price increase implemented by LinkLayer, the underlying fibre provider, which took effect on 1 August 2025. We notified all affected customers of this change on 30 June 2025, and our records show that you received this notification.  We understand that price changes are never ideal, but these adjustments are unfortunately outside of our control.
